Our store

"Metal Effects" is primarily an online store. Goods (mainly restored metal goods) are offered for sale at the fixed price shown plus delivery charges. We deliver Australia-wide. We do not generally allow for pick-up of orders except where approved by arrangement.

Restored parts offered for sale are generally restored by us (A Class Metal Effects || A Class Metal Finishers) and will generally be of high quality, given our extensive expertise in this.

Some items offered for sale may be categorised as "seconds" if there are imperfections that do not warrant re-work. These items will still generally be fit for purpose and we will generally indicate if this is the case.

Some items are restored or refurbished to "best as reasonably possible" and are as good as they can be given age, deterioration or the unusual nature of the item.

We ask that customers examine photographs within the store carefully before ordering.

Office Hours, Responses and Delivery Timing. Hours are variable and part-time. The business is small, and the owners are semi-retired and may travel from time to time. We cannot guarantee a response to all queries quickly but generally we respond within 48 hours. We will generally give you a delivery timing estimate for paid orders. Most orders are despatched within a week of ordering/paying.
